Research on Reactive Power Optimization Control of a Series-Resonant Dual-Active-Bridge Converter

In order to meet the demands of bidirectional transmission electric vehicle charger power, a series-resonant dual-active-bridge (DAB) converter is investigated in this paper. Firstly, active and reactive power zero voltage switching (ZVS) conditions full-bridge arm under extended phase-shift modulation, dual modulation triple are analyzed. Secondly, with minimum as optimization objective, phase shift (EPS) finally selected method after comparing various methods when normalized value varied range 0–1. By constructing objective function determining constraints, an off-line power–minimization control strategy proposed achieve ZVS and, finally, feasibility verified by simulation experiment.
